For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

SETD2 is a histone methyltransferase that specifically trimethylates Lys-36 of histone H3 (H3K36me3) using dimethylated Lys-36 (H3K36me2) as substrate.
It is the main enzyme responsible for generating H3K36me3, a key marker for epigenetic transcriptional activation.
SETD2 plays roles in:

• Chromatin structure modulation during transcription elongation
• DNA mismatch repair by recruiting the MutS alpha complex
• Maintenance of heterochromatin via DNMT3A recruitment
• Coupling of splicing and transcriptional elongation
• Angiogenesis regulation
• Regulation of adenovirus 12 E1A gene expression upon infection
