CD235a (Glycophorin A, GPA)는 성숙한 적혈구 및 적혈구 전구세포에서 발현되는 단일 통과 막 시알로글리코프로틴입니다. 혈액형 M 및 N 특이성의 운반체 역할을 하며, 세포 융합을 방지하는 점액질 구조를 제공하여 적혈구 간 응집을 최소화합니다. 또한 CD235a는 Sandei virus, parvovirus, Streptococcus adhesin Hsa의 수용체로 작용하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
