Target Information
The G-protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) superfamily consists of approximately 600–1,000 members, making it the largest known class of molecular targets with proven therapeutic relevance.
GPR18 is an orphan G protein-coupled receptor expressed at high levels in the testis, small intestine, and immune-related cells such as lymphocytes, thymus, and spleen.
It acts as a receptor for endogenous lipid neurotransmitters, some of which also interact with cannabinoid receptors.
Known ligands include:

- Δ9-Tetrahydrocannabinol
