Target Information
MYLK4 (myosin light chain kinase family member 4) is a serine/threonine kinase belonging to the CAMK kinase family. It is one of four myosin light chain kinases encoded in the human genome. MLCKs are activated by Ca²⁺-calmodulin complexes and require Mg²⁺ or Ca²⁺ as cofactors. MYLK4 has two isoforms produced by alternative splicing.
