- In direct ELISAs and Western blots, approximately 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human MUCDHL is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
This gene is a novel mucin-like gene that belongs to the cadherin superfamily. It encodes nonpolymorphic tandem repeats rich in proline, serine, and threonine similar to mucin proteins, and also contains calcium-binding motifs found in all cadherins. The role of the hybrid extracellular region and specific function of this protein have not yet been determined. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described.
