Target Information
Rit와 Rin은 Ras 관련 GTPase의 최근 발견된 하위군으로, CAAX 박스 또는 유사한 C-말단 지질화 모티프가 없음에도 막 결합형으로 존재합니다. 두 단백질은 64%의 아미노산 서열 동일성을 가지며, 인간 및 생쥐 단백질 간 100% 보존된 9개의 아미노산 효력 도메인(DPTIEDAYK)을 공유합니다. Rit와 Rin은 Ras와 유사한 effector 도메인을 가지지만 Raf kinase, RIN1, PI3 kinase p110 서브유닛과는 결합하지 않고 RalGDS, Rlf, AF-6 등 Ras 결합 단백질과 상호작용합니다. 따라서 Rit와 Rin은 Ras가 조절하는 경로와는 구별되는 신호 조절 경로에서 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 제안됩니다.
