HLA-F는 HLA class I heavy chain paralog 중 하나로, β2-microglobulin light chain과 이합체를 형성합니다. 대부분의 HLA heavy chain과 달리, HLA-F는 주로 소포체와 골지체에 위치하며 일부 세포 표면에도 존재합니다. 제한된 펩타이드 서브세트를 결합하여 면역 제시 기능을 수행하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
