Target Information
EZH2 (Histone-lysine N-methyltransferase)는 Polycomb-group (PcG) 단백질 패밀리에 속합니다. PcG 단백질들은 다중 단백질 복합체를 형성하여 세포 세대에 걸쳐 유전자 전사 억제 상태를 유지하는 역할을 합니다. EZH2 단백질은 embryonic ectoderm development protein, VAV1 oncoprotein, X-linked nuclear protein과 상호작용하며, 조혈계 및 중추신경계 발달에 관여할 수 있습니다. EZH2의 변이는 Weaver syndrome (WVS)을 유발할 수 있습니다.
