Carrier-Free
Reconstitution:
Briefly centrifuge vial before opening. Reconstitute lyophilized preparation with sterile distilled water to 0.1–1.0 mg/mL. Further dilutions should be made in tissue culture grade buffered solutions with heat-inactivated fetal calf serum or low endotoxin BSA.
Storage:
Stable at 2°C–8°C; for long-term storage, keep at -20°C, preferably desiccated. After reconstitution, stable up to one week at 2°C–8°C. For maximal stability, aliquot and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
Target Information
TARC ligand (CCL17) belongs to the CC chemokine family. It is a small cytokine located on the q arm of chromosome 16 in humans, along with other chemokines. TARC specifically binds to T-cells and interacts with chemokine receptors CCR4 and CCR8. It plays an important role in T cell development in the thymus and in trafficking and activation of mature T cells.
