Target Information
The MAS1 protein belongs to the class of receptors coupled to GTP-binding proteins and shares a conserved 7-transmembrane structural motif. These hydrophobic segments are predicted to form membrane-spanning alpha-helices. MAS1 may act as a receptor that, when activated, modulates a key component in a growth-regulating pathway, potentially leading to oncogenic effects.
