Product Specific Information

This antibody is predicted to react with mouse based on sequence homology.
Intact IgG appears on a non-reducing gel as ~150 kDa band and upon reduction generates a ~25 kDa light chain band and a ~50 kDa heavy chain.

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information

IL-1 receptor associated kinases (IRAKs) are serine/threonine kinases involved in signaling via Toll/IL-1 pathways. Upon TLR activation, IRAK1 is recruited by MYD88 to the receptor-signaling complex, where it is phosphorylated by IRAK4 and subsequently autophosphorylated and activated.

IRAK1 can phosphorylate TIRAP to promote its ubiquitination and degradation. It also phosphorylates interferon regulatory factor 7 (IRF7), leading to its activation and nuclear translocation, which induces transcription of type I IFN genes and establishes an antiviral state.
