Target Information

RAG2(V(D)J recombination-activating protein 2)는 RAG 복합체의 핵심 구성 요소로, V(D)J 재조합 과정의 DNA 절단 단계에 관여합니다.
이 복합체는 B 및 T 림프구 발달 중 면역글로불린과 T세포 수용체 유전자의 다양성을 형성하기 위해 V, D, J 유전자 절편을 재배열합니다.
DNA 절단은 두 단계로 진행되며, RAG2는 촉매 성분은 아니지만 RAG1이 매개하는 모든 촉매 활성에 필수적입니다.
