Target Information
DYKDDDDK tag (FLAG tag) is an eight–amino acid sequence (Asp–Tyr–Lys–Asp–Asp–Asp–Asp–Lys) commonly used for protein purification, detection, and localization.
It can be fused to either terminus of a protein to facilitate identification and isolation using anti-FLAG antibodies.
Widely applied in molecular biology and biochemistry for protein–protein interaction, expression, and localization studies.
The FLAG tag is hydrophilic and designed to minimize denaturation or inactivation of tagged proteins.
