Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).
Target Information
CD68 (Macrosialin) is a 110 kDa integral membrane glycoprotein primarily expressed in intracellular lysosomes of monocytes and macrophages, and to a lesser extent in dendritic cells and granulocytes. It is involved in phagocytic activity and lysosomal metabolism.
CD68 expression is observed in interdigitating reticulum cells, histiocytic lymphoma, histiocytosis, AML, and granulocytic sarcoma. Elevated CD68 expression has been reported in CD34+ cells across various human malignancies, including Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
