Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select optimal candidates.

Target Information
P5 is a novel human protein with peptide-binding and chaperone activity specific to certain proteins. It shares structural similarities with PDI, an important ER protein, and contains an ER retention signal (KDEL).
P5 includes two CXXC-like motifs responsible for oxidoreductase activity, located at both termini. Studies indicate the N-terminal motif plays a key role in isomerase activity. Unlike most PDI-like proteins, P5 is not stress-inducible.
