Target Information
STAT1 (signal transducers and activators of transcription 1)는 STAT 전사인자 패밀리의 구성원입니다.
STAT1은 interferon-alpha, interferon-gamma, EGF, PDGF, IL6 등에 의해 활성화되며, 세포 성장, apoptosis, 면역 반응, 지질 대사 관련 유전자들을 조절합니다.
또한 다양한 자극 및 병원체 노출에 따른 세포 생존성 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
STAT1 유전자는 염색체 2에 위치하며, JAK tyrosine kinase에 의해 인산화되어 핵으로 이동 후 다양한 유전자의 전사를 조절합니다.
STAT1, STAT3, STAT5a, STAT5b는 폭넓은 활성화 프로파일을 가지며, STAT1은 IFN family (IFN-α, IFN-β, IFN-γ, IL-10), gp130 family (IL-6, IL-11, LIF, CNTF, G-CSF), receptor tyrosine kinases (EGF, PDGF, CSF-1)에 의해 활성화됩니다.
두 가지 splice 변형체가 존재하며, 각기 다른 isoform을 인코딩합니다.
