Target Information
RARA (Retinoic Acid Receptor alpha)는 레티노산 수용체로, all-trans 또는 9-cis retinoic acid와 결합하여 RXR/RAR 이합체 형태로 표적 반응 요소(RARE)에 결합하고 유전자 발현을 조절합니다.
리간드가 없는 상태에서는 전사 억제 복합체와 결합하여 전사 억제를 유도하지만, 리간드 결합 시 공동활성인자와 상호작용하여 전사 활성화를 유도합니다.
RARA는 생식세포 발달, 골격 성장, 세포 생존 및 분화 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
