Target Information
This gene encodes a trypsinogen, a member of the trypsin family of serine proteases. It is highly expressed in prostate epithelia and found in seminal fluid. The proprotein is cleaved into a light and heavy chain linked by a disulfide bond. It acts on peptide linkages involving lysine or arginine residues.
