Target Information
This gene encodes a trypsinogen, a member of the trypsin family of serine proteases. It is highly expressed in prostate epithelia and found in seminal fluid. The proprotein is cleaved into light and heavy chains linked by a disulfide bond and is active on peptide linkages involving lysine or arginine residues.
