Product Specific Information
- In Western blots, less than 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human Wnt-2, Wnt-9a, and recombinant mouse Wnt family members (Wnt-1, Wnt-2b, Wnt-3a, Wnt-4, Wnt-5a, Wnt-5b, Wnt-11, Wnt-16) is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
WNT9B, part of the WNT gene family, encodes secreted signaling proteins involved in oncogenesis and developmental processes such as regulation of cell fate and patterning during embryogenesis. Expression studies in the teratocarcinoma cell line NT2 suggest involvement in early neuronal differentiation induced by retinoic acid. WNT9B is clustered with WNT3 on chromosome 17q21.
