Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 min at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.

MAPK14 (p38 alpha)는 스트레스-활성화 단백질 키나아제(MAPK) 계열에 속합니다.
p38 MAPK cascade는 스트레스, 염증 및 기타 신호에 대한 다양한 세포 반응을 조절합니다.
비인산화 상태에서는 비활성화되어 있으며, Thr-Gly-Tyr 모티프의 이중 인산화에 의해 활성화됩니다.
4가지 isoform이 존재하며, 조직 발현 및 상위/하위 조절 인자에 대한 친화도가 다릅니다.
TNF, IL-1, heat shock 등의 자극 시 MAPK kinase-3/6가 Thr180과 Tyr182 잔기를 인산화하여 p38 MAPK를 활성화합니다.
활성화된 phospho-p38 MAPK는 ATF-2, CHOP-1, MEF-2 등의 전사 인자를 인산화하여 활성화합니다.
