Target Information
CD5는 67 kDa의 인간 T-림프구 단일사슬 막단백질로, 모든 성숙 T-림프구, 대부분의 흉선세포(thymocytes), 그리고 다수의 T세포 백혈병 및 림프종에서 발현된다. 또한 활성화된 B세포의 일부 아형에서도 반응하며, T세포 증식 조절 수용체로 작용할 수 있다. CD5는 흉선세포의 약 95%, 말초혈액 림프구의 약 72%에서 발견된다. 림프절에서는 주로 T세포 영역에서 반응성이 관찰된다. CD5는 다양한 T세포 백혈병, 림프종, 활성화된 T세포에서 발현된다. CD5 기능 이상은 흉선암(thymus cancer) 및 Richter’s Syndrome과 관련이 있다.
