Product Specific Information
- For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
- For conjugation experiments, perform desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882) before use.
Target Information
Sulfotransferase enzymes catalyze the sulfate conjugation of many hormones, neurotransmitters, drugs, and xenobiotic compounds. These cytosolic enzymes differ in tissue distribution and substrate specificity. The gene encoding SULT1A3 is located on chromosome 16p and shares structural similarity with other sulfotransferase family members. It encodes a thermolabile phenol sulfotransferase and has multiple alternatively spliced variants encoding the same protein.
