PTP1B (PTPN1)는 endoplasmic reticulum의 unfolded protein response를 조절하는 tyrosine-protein phosphatase입니다. EIF2AK3/PERK의 탈인산화를 매개하여 단백질 키나아제 활성을 비활성화하며, CKII 및 p60c-src 신호전달 경로, EFNA5-EPHA3 신호 경로, MET 탈인산화에 의한 hepatocyte growth factor receptor 경로 조절 등 다양한 세포 신호 조절에 관여합니다.
