Target Information
CEACAM1은 면역글로불린 초가족에 속하는 암배아항원(CEA) 유전자 패밀리의 구성원입니다. CEA 세포 접착 분자와 임신 특이적 당단백질 두 하위 그룹은 염색체 19의 장완에 위치한 약 1.2 Mb 클러스터 내에 존재합니다. CEACAM1은 간의 담관에서 처음 발견된 담즙 당단백질로 보고되었으며, 이후 백혈구, 상피세포, 내피세포에서 세포 간 접착 분자로 확인되었습니다. 이 단백질은 동종 및 이종 결합을 통해 세포 접착을 매개하며, 조직 구조 형성, 혈관신생, 세포사멸, 종양 억제, 전이, 선천 및 적응 면역 반응 조절 등 다양한 세포 기능에 관여합니다. 여러 전사체 변이가 보고되었으며, 그중 두 가지의 전장 형태가 확인되었습니다.
