TNF alpha는 종양괴사인자(TNF) 초가족에 속하는 다기능성 염증성 사이토카인으로, 주로 대식세포에 의해 분비되어 TNFRSF1A/TNFR1 및 TNFRSF1B/TNFBR 수용체에 결합합니다.
면역세포 조절, 세포 증식, 분화, 세포사멸, 지질대사 및 응고 조절에 관여합니다.
비환원 조건의 SDS-PAGE에서 단일 17 kDa 밴드로 검출되며, 생체 내에서는 다량체 형태로 존재합니다.
TNF alpha는 면역 반응, 감염 방어, 종양 괴사 유도 등 다양한 생리적 및 병리적 과정에 관여하며, 자가면역질환, 인슐린 저항성, 암 등 여러 질환과 관련이 있습니다.
