Product Specific Information
- 1 µg/mL of MA5-45236 was sufficient for detection of Aha1 in 10 µg of rat tissue lysate by colorimetric immunoblot analysis using Goat anti-rat IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody.
- Detects approximately 38 kDa; can run up to 45 kDa on SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
AHA1 acts as a co-chaperone of HSP90AA1, activating its ATPase activity and enhancing chaperone function. It competes with inhibitory co-chaperones FNIP1 and TSC1 for binding to HSP90AA1, providing a reciprocal regulatory mechanism for client protein chaperoning. [UniProt]
