Product Specific Information

The MU5UBEE monoclonal antibody reacts with human and non-human primate CD185 (CXCR5/BLR1), a seven transmembrane G protein-coupled receptor originally identified in Burkitt’s lymphoma. CD185 is expressed on B cells, CD4⁺ T cells, and memory T cells, playing a critical role in lymphocyte trafficking and follicular helper T cell identification.

Each product includes:

• 1 vial of NovaFluor conjugate
• 1 vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Pre-titrated; use 5 µL (0.125 µg) per test (100 µL final volume, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test)

Important Notes:

• NovaFluor dyes are not compatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes (e.g., propidium iodide, 7-AAD, DAPI).
• Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains for viability.
• CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Cat. No. C001T06F01) is required for optimal staining.
  • Add 5 µL per sample to antibody cocktails/master mixes before combining with cells.
  • For single-color controls, use 5 µL per 100 µL cell sample.

Target Information

CXCR5 (CD185), also known as Burkitt lymphoma receptor 1 (BLR1), is a G protein-coupled receptor expressed in lymphatic tissues such as lymph nodes and spleen. It mediates B cell migration and plays a key role in immune cell trafficking. CXCR5 is expressed in human blood, lymphatic organs, and various tissues. As a member of the GPCR family, it participates in signal transduction and is a pharmacological target in multiple research areas.
