Mouse anti-ALIX antibody, clone 3A9, recognizes the apoptosis-linked gene-2 interacting protein X (ALIX), also known as Programmed cell death 6-interacting protein or Hp95.
Target Information
Apoptotic linked-gene-product 2 (ALG-2) interacting protein X (ALIX) is a conserved adaptor protein that is ubiquitously expressed.
Originally reported to play a role in apoptosis, ALIX has also been shown to be involved in endosomal sorting, endocytosis, viral budding, and actin cytoskeleton assembly.
