Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 min at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
BetaIII-tubulin isoform is dominantly expressed in cells of neuronal origin and serves as an early marker of neuronal differentiation.
It is a specific probe for neurons and tumors derived from neuronal cells.
Although most abundant in neuronal cells, it is also detected in Sertoli cells of the testis and transiently in non-neuronal embryonic tissues.
