Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature (RT).
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 min at 95°C, followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes.
Target Information
The betaIII-tubulin isoform is dominantly present in cells of neuronal origin and is one of the earliest markers of neuronal differentiation. It serves as a specific probe for neuronal cells and tumors originating from them. BetaIII-tubulin is most abundant in neuronal cells but is also found in Sertoli cells of the testis and transiently in non-neuronal embryonic tissues.
