CD147 (basigin, neurothelin, OX-47, 5A11, CE9, M6, EMMPRIN, extracellular matrix metalloproteinase inducer, TCSF, tumour cell-derived collagenase-stimulatory factor)은 50–60 kDa의 당단백질로, 여러 당화 형태를 가집니다.
이 단백질은 세포막에 존재하며, 정자형성, 배아 착상, 신경망 형성, 종양 진행에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 또한 면역글로불린 초가족에 속하며, 대사활성이 높은 세포(림프모세포, 염증세포, 갈색지방세포, 악성종양세포 등)에서 높은 수준으로 발현됩니다.
CD147은 단량체 수송 단백질과 기질 금속단백분해효소의 세포 표면 발현을 촉진하고, 인테그린 기능 조절, 세포 발달 및 활성화, 태아 발달, 망막 기능 등 다양한 생물학적 과정에 관여합니다.
