Product Specific Information
This antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
The SLC4A5 gene encodes a member of the sodium bicarbonate cotransporter (NBC) family, part of the bicarbonate transporter superfamily. These transporters are involved in intracellular pH regulation and sodium bicarbonate transport. The protein is believed to be an integral membrane protein. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified, though the biological relevance of some variants remains uncertain.
