The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).

Target Information

SLIT and NTRK-like family 6 (Slitrk6) belongs to a protein family consisting of six homologous transmembrane proteins (Slitrk1–6). These share two conserved leucine-rich repeat domains in the extracellular region and show homology to Slit, a secreted axonal growth-controlling protein, as well as trk neurotrophin receptors in the intracellular domain.
Expression of Slitrk proteins is mainly restricted to neural and brain tumor tissues, though it varies among family members. Slitrk6 is expressed in tongue, lung, gastrointestinal tract, and pancreas. Overexpression of Slitrk6 inhibits neurite outgrowth in cultured neurons, suggesting involvement in neurite outgrowth regulation. At least two isoforms of Slitrk6 are known to exist.
