Target Information
Anti-Rabbit secondary antibodies are affinity-purified and have well-characterized specificity for rabbit immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of rabbit antibodies. Secondary antibodies provide versatility across detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and enhance sensitivity via signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. Typically, these antibodies are produced by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and may be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, conjugation).
