Product Specific Information

• Rehydrate with 1.1 mL of deionized water and let stand 30 minutes at room temperature to dissolve. (Product has been overfilled to ensure complete recovery.)
• Centrifuge to remove particulates and prepare fresh working dilution daily.
• Store lyophilized material at 2–8°C. For long-term storage after reconstitution, dilute with 50% glycerol and store at -20°C as a liquid.
• Based on immunoelectrophoresis, no reactivity is observed to non-immunoglobulin rabbit serum proteins, or serum proteins from bovine, human, or mouse.
• Reactivity confirmed with heavy (gamma) chains on rabbit IgG and light chains on all rabbit immunoglobulins.
• Affinity purified antibody is >95% pure based on SDS-PAGE.

Target Information

Anti-Rabbit secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for rabbit immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of rabbit IgG targets. Secondary antibodies enhance assay versatility and sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. These reagents are commonly produced by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and further purified or conjugated for specific applications.
