Product Specific Information
- For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of ~1 mg/mL.
- For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
ATG3 (APG3) is a conjugating enzyme essential for APG8 lipidation, a key step in autophagy initiation. Autophagy is a cellular process for protein degradation and nutrient recycling, crucial for growth control and often altered in tumor cells. ATG3 acts as an E2-like enzyme catalyzing formation of the Atg8-phosphatidylethanolamine (Atg8-PE) conjugate, critical for autophagosome formation. This process is regulated by TOR through phosphorylation of APG1.
