Product Specific Information
- For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
- For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
This gene encodes the L protein of the mitochondrial glycine cleavage system. The L protein, also known as dihydrolipoamide dehydrogenase, is a component of several enzyme complexes including the pyruvate dehydrogenase complex, the alpha-ketoglutarate dehydrogenase complex, and the branched-chain alpha-keto acid dehydrogenase complex.
Mutations in this gene have been associated with E3-deficient maple syrup urine disease and lipoamide dehydrogenase deficiency.
