Product Specific Information
- For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
- For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7 K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Eukaryotes produce three distinct classes of RNA polymerase — Pol I, II, and III — each responsible for synthesizing a different class of RNA.
- Pol I transcribes rRNA genes for the precursor of 28S, 18S, and 5.8S ribosomal RNA molecules.
- Pol II transcribes protein-coding genes into mRNA and snRNA genes into snRNAs.
- Pol III transcribes 5S rRNA and all tRNA genes.
Each polymerase consists of 9–15 different subunits, with RPB6 and RPB8 shared among all three polymerases.
