For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve approximately 1 mg/mL antibody concentration.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The BTRC gene encodes an F-box protein, part of the SCF ubiquitin ligase complex involved in phosphorylation-dependent ubiquitination.
F-box proteins are grouped into three classes:

• Fbws: containing WD-40 domains
• Fbls: containing leucine-rich repeats
• Fbxs: containing other protein-protein interaction modules or no recognizable motifs

BTRC belongs to the Fbws class and includes multiple WD-40 repeats. It is homologous to Xenopus bTrCP1, yeast Met30, Neurospora Scon2, and Drosophila Slimb proteins.
It interacts with HIV-1 Vpu, linking CD4 to the proteolytic machinery, and associates with phosphorylated IκBα and β-catenin destruction motifs.
This protein participates in transcriptional regulation by activating the NF-κB pathway and inhibiting the β-catenin pathway.
