Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
POLR2J2 is a member of the RNA polymerase II subunit 11 gene family located on chromosome 7q22.1.
This family includes three genes and a pseudogene on chromosome 7p13.
DNA-directed RNA polymerase II polypeptide J encodes a subunit responsible for synthesizing mRNA in eukaryotes.
POLR2J2 produces alternatively spliced transcripts that may encode isoforms with distinct C-termini.
Most variants include additional non-coding exons, making them candidates for nonsense-mediated decay (NMD).
It remains unclear whether this locus expresses a functional protein in vivo.
