For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7 K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

CD30 (Ki-1, TNF Receptor Superfamily Member 8) is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein of the TNF receptor superfamily. It was originally identified as a cell surface antigen of Hodgkin’s and Reed–Sternberg cells using monoclonal antibody Ki-1.
CD30 ligand (CD30L/CD153) binding mediates effects such as cell proliferation, activation, differentiation, and apoptosis. CD30 plays a key role in the pathophysiology of Hodgkin’s disease and other CD30⁺ lymphomas, and acts as a costimulatory molecule in thymic negative selection.
It is expressed on Hodgkin’s and Reed–Sternberg cells, certain non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas, virus-infected T/B cells, and activated normal T/B cells. Soluble CD30 (sCD30) reflects Th2 immune responses. CD30 interacts with TRAF2 and TRAF5 to activate NF-κB signaling and positively regulates apoptosis, limiting autoreactive CD8 effector T cell proliferation.
Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been reported. CD30 expression is observed in Hodgkin’s lymphoma, Reed–Sternberg cells, most Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphomas (ALCL), and embryonal carcinomas.
