STK24 (MST3)는 STE20 유사 단백질의 GCK 하위 패밀리에 속하는 세린/트레오닌 키나아제입니다.
Yeast의 Sterile 20 (STE20) 유전자는 MAPK 경로 상류에서 기능하며, 포유류에서는 구조와 조절 방식에 따라 PAK 및 GCK 두 하위 패밀리로 구분됩니다.
PAK 하위군은 C-말단에 촉매 도메인, N-말단에 CDC42 결합 도메인을 가지며, GCK 하위군은 N-말단에 촉매 도메인, C-말단에 조절 도메인을 가지나 CDC42 결합 도메인은 없습니다. STK24는 GCK 하위군에 속합니다.
