Target Information
CNOT3 is a component of the CCR4-NOT complex, one of the major cellular mRNA deadenylases. It is involved in multiple cellular processes including mRNA degradation, miRNA-mediated repression, translational regulation, and transcriptional control. CNOT3 may play roles in metabolic regulation, mitotic progression, and maintenance of embryonic stem cell identity by influencing mRNA stability and transcriptional repression, potentially through histone deacetylase interactions.
