Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using an epitope-specific immunogen. Purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
LTK (leukocyte tyrosine kinase), also known as TYK1, belongs to the receptor tyrosine kinase family and shares sequence similarity with the insulin receptor subfamily. It is expressed in murine B-lymphocyte precursors and forebrain neurons.
ALK (anaplastic lymphoma kinase) and Ros are related kinases; ALK is highly expressed in the nervous system, while Ros is found in specific epithelial cells and may play a role in epithelial development. A truncated ALK form is associated with certain non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas.
