Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

XPD (ERCC2) is a key component of the nucleotide excision repair pathway responsible for repairing DNA damage. It functions in transcription-coupled nucleotide excision repair and is an integral member of the basal transcription factor BTF2/TFIIH complex.
This ATP-dependent DNA helicase belongs to the RAD3/XPD subfamily of helicases. Mutations in this gene are associated with xeroderma pigmentosum (complementation group D), trichothiodystrophy, and Cockayne syndrome.
Alternative splicing produces multiple isoforms.
