Preparation:
Produced from sera of goats immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human SCGF-beta. The anti-Human SCGF-beta-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect hSCGF-beta by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution), a concentration of 0.25–1.0 µg/mL of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human SCGF-beta (500-P99G) as a capture antibody, allows detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of recombinant hSCGF-beta.

Western Blot:
To detect hSCGF-beta by Western blot analysis, use at 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. In conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for recombinant hSCGF-beta is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

This gene encodes a member of the C-type lectin superfamily. The encoded protein is a secreted sulfated glycoprotein and functions as a growth factor for primitive hematopoietic progenitor cells. An alternative splice variant has been described but its biological nature has not been determined.
