This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems clone specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, followed by screening of individual clones to select optimal candidates.

This antibody specifically recognizes Human CEACAM1/CD66a.

Target Information

CEACAM1 is a member of the carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) gene family, belonging to the immunoglobulin superfamily. The CEA family includes two subgroups: CEA cell adhesion molecules and pregnancy-specific glycoproteins, located within a 1.2 Mb cluster on chromosome 19.
The encoded protein was first identified in liver bile ducts as biliary glycoprotein and later found to mediate cell-cell adhesion in leukocytes, epithelia, and endothelia.

• Angiogenesis and apoptosis regulation
• Tumor suppression and metastasis control
• Modulation of innate and adaptive immune responses

Multiple transcript variants exist, with two full-length isoforms identified.
