• Concentration: May vary slightly from lot to lot; refer to lot-specific datasheet for exact concentration.
• Antibody Specificity: Reacts with heavy chains on goat IgG and light chains common to most goat immunoglobulins. No reactivity to non-immunoglobulin serum proteins detected. Possible cross-reactivity with other species.
• Recommended Applications: WB, IF, ICC, IHC, IP, FACS
• Suggested Dilution Range: 1:50–1:200
• Fluorophore: Tetramethyl rhodamine 5 (and 6)-isothiocyanate (TRITC)
• Spectral Properties: Amax = 550 nm; Emax = 570 nm
• Fluorophore/Protein Ratio: A550/A280 = 0.50

Restoration and Storage:

• Store at 4°C until opened.
• Restore with 1.1 mL distilled water.
• Centrifuge if not clear after 1–2 hours at room temperature.
• Stable for several weeks at 4°C as undiluted liquid.
• After dilution, use within one day.
• For extended storage, add equal volume of glycerol (final 50%) and store at -20°C, or aliquot without glycerol and store at -80°C or below. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Target Information

Anti-Goat secondary antibodies are affinity-purified with well-characterized specificity for goat immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of target antibodies.
Secondary antibodies enhance versatility and sensitivity by enabling multiple detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and signal amplification.
They are typically generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, label conjugation) for high specificity.
