Product Specific Information

Description:
The eBio13G3-19D monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse Ly108, the mouse homologue of human SLAMF6 (signaling lymphocyte activation molecule family member 6). Ly108 (also known as NTB-A) is expressed on NK, T, and B cells. Engagement of Ly108 enhances NK cell activity and IFN-γ expression, and is implicated in X-linked lymphoproliferative disease. CD4⁺ T cells from Ly108 knockout mice show reduced IL-4 production and defective neutrophil functions.

No strain differences were observed between C57BL/6 and BALB/c mice; other strains not tested.

Applications Reported:
This antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis, immunoprecipitation, and immunoblotting (WB).

Applications Tested:
Tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes and thymocytes. Use ≤0.5 µg per test (100 µL final volume). Cell number may vary (10⁵–10⁸ cells/test). Titrate for optimal performance.

Storage and Handling:
Use in a sterile environment.

Filtration:
0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.

Purity:

90%, determined by SDS-PAGE.

Endotoxin Level:
<0.001 ng/µg antibody (LAL assay).

Aggregation:
<10%, determined by HPLC.

Target Information
